3rd Year Industry Project - Powerchair Football

Powerchair Football is the worlds first disability sports game made for the Tayside Dynamos of Dundee.

The prototype aims to simulate the sport, its complexity and skill required of its players. This project was done as a part of the DES310 Professional Project module at Abertay University. 

This project ran for 15 Weeks total (13 weeks development time).

Project Roles

My main role within this project was the team producer, but I took on additional roles as the sound designer and project co-ordinator due to neccessity of team diciplines. I was responsible for creating the team schedule, managing, leading and directing the project.

This project required professionalism and to be focused and determined to deliver what our clients specified.

Project Contributions

  • GDD, ADD, TDD (Game, Audio & Technical design documents)

  • Jira scheduling (planning, assigning tasks, using sprints to keep track of tasks completion and progress)

  • Producer Log - detailed self report of tasks

  • Producer Decision Log - detailed report of every decision made and why, using Confluence 

  • Music & SFX - 4 custom made soundtracks composed my myself, as well as a full audio asset list and essential audio.

  • Client Meetings, communication & presentations (every 2 weeks)

  • Game Trailer - short demo trailer showcasing the core aspects of powerchair football (multiplayer, game rules, replay cameras etc)
